WARRANTY TERMS – BIKE REPAIRS
The repairs we perform and the parts we supply and install are covered by a warranty according to legal provisions and the conditions below.
1. Warranty on the performed repair
We guarantee the proper execution of the repair we performed. If a defect arises within the warranty period that is directly related to the performed repair or to a part we installed, we will assess this issue within a reasonable time and, if it falls under the warranty, repair it free of charge.
2. Exclusions from warranty
The warranty does not apply to defects or damage resulting from:
- normal wear and tear or wear parts;
- accident, fall, collision, or misuse;
- overloading or use for which the bike is not intended;
- deficient or insufficient maintenance;
- rust, corrosion, moisture, or water damage;
- changes, modifications, or repairs made by third parties;
- damage that occurred after the repair due to external circumstances;
- parts that are naturally subject to normal wear, unless the defect is due to a mounting or manufacturing error.
3. Warranty on parts
For new parts supplied during the repair, the statutory warranty rights apply as far as applicable. The warranty on a part does not cover damage caused by improper use, normal wear and tear, or an external cause.
4. Warranty Claim
A warranty claim must be reported to us as soon as possible after the problem is identified. The bicycle must be made available for inspection upon request. We will determine based on a technical inspection whether the problem is related to the performed repair or the supplied part.
5. Repair under Warranty
When a defect falls under the warranty, the necessary repair will be carried out free of charge, as far as legally required. The repair will be done within a reasonable time.
6. Legal Rights of the Consumer
These warranty conditions do not affect the legal rights of the consumer. The statutory warranty cannot be contractually limited or excluded.
7. Proof of Repair
In a warranty request, the original invoice, work order, or other proof of the performed repair may be requested.
8. Water Damage/Moisture
Sold products such as displays, controllers, and (repaired) batteries that are sold where we determine water damage and moisture do not fall under warranty.
9. Additional Warranty
Any additional commercial warranty conditions will always be communicated separately and clearly on the customer's invoice.
These conditions apply as long as they do not deviate from mandatory provisions of Belgian consumer law.
